Scrapped

Ta Da's: So these are the pages I couldn't share last week. We had Michael's birthday party & the camping trip & I just didn't have the time. I made these pages the week before last when a couple friends came over to scrap while Shawn worked staff duty (24 hour shift). As usual I still have journaling to do and some embellishments to add but they're mostly done. I'm still working on finishing Lydia's album and these are pictures of her at the hospital along with our hospital bracelets and the card that was on her bassinette. I realized when I was done that I used the sleepy baby patterned paper instead of the stork patterned paper (same color scheme) so I'll use the other papers on the rest of the hospital pictures.

To Do's: I'm just hoping to get something done - maybe the rest of the hospital pictures, maybe journaling on pages that are unfinished... I have a busy work week ahead and of course there's always things to do around the house & with the kids. Not to mention the rest of the stink incident clean up.

I really like your colors on this LO. The maroon, pink and tan really set off the blue in the pictures. When you journal, do you just use a black pen with cursive writing?

Good luck with your to-dos this week!

Great LOs! Baby pics are the best!!

As for your stink incident, I totally feel your pain. I've had a dog sprayed in the mouth by a skunk enter my apartment--my tiny little studio apartment. Well, let's just say I left something behind when I left...MONTHS later. More recently, a skunk sprayed right outside the front door of our house and it got taken in through the intake vent for the furnace. Nothing quite like HEATED and CONCENTRATED skunk odor at 2:30 in the morning when it is roughly 20 degrees outside. That is definitely the first time I woke up by gagging.
At any rate...hang in there. I know how awful it is, but it will dissipate eventually and you'll go back to smelling like normal. :)

Oh lyra - that is AWFUL!!!!!!! YUCK! Fortunately the stink is pretty much gone. I still have some laundry to do & he will take care of the tent & such but the dog is fresh enough and will keep fading. I think I would have checked into a hotel, gross. I hope the stench is gone for you.
