SHS

Wow, it's already Saturday. With the storm Tuesday my Mary Kay meeting was rescheduled to last night so my days are all thrown off. Though that's nothing new. I had an okay week. I really can't remember how often I did the dishes at night but I think that's improving because I don't remember doing dishes more mornings than not. I do know that my kitchen is typically cleaner throughout the day and really that's all that matters. I did finally catch up on the laundry I needed to fold and did a round of laundry with folding it right away. But there's a new load sitting in my basket that was in the drier for a day or so and another load in the drier so I'll have to get on that today. At least I'm thinking about it more is how I look at it.

There isn't any further progress in the kitchen. My hubby got a great deal on an XBox 360, I think for $50. But it didn't come with a controller or power cord/brick. So I got those for him off of e-bay. He says it was all still a good deal but the two items cost $96 plus I'll have to pay shipping a second time to send the items to him so just over $100 in the end. This meant no shelves for my pantry until next pay day. I'm not upset about it though. He doesn't get much down time and I'm sure listening to music or watching movies gets old after a while. So I'm glad he will have something else to relax and enjoy.

Well yay dishes getting done! I think you're right, if the kitchen is cleaner all day then you must be doing something right! Laundry is my nemesis. No matter how much you do it or when, there is always more to do, so as long as you are wearing clean clothes I figure you're doin great! ;-) YAY for getting a deal on stuff for hubby, too bad it puts stuff for the kitchen off, but you have a great attitude about it. Good luck having another SMART week!

What a great attitude to have about the shelves! My husband is the same way with down time...he gets so little of it that I don't mind if he sits down in front of the game cube. I'm just happy he's happy...and it gives me more time to blog, LOL!

Good job with the kitchen!! I think we sound very similar... I have been trying to get my kitchen cleaned up in the morning too. I think it really does help.

Thank you for putting your hubby ahead of yourself - I think you did a beautifull thing. I am sure he'll pay you back in more ways than shelves. You are a sweetie.
